Based in Burnley, St James’ Lanehead Church of England Primary School, aims to give every child the skills they need to be successful in life.
Project Overview
St James’ Lanehead wanted a promotional video that would be used across the website and at open evenings to engage parents and motivate them to apply for their child to attend the school.
Our video production team guided St James’ through the whole video production process from understanding what made them different and why parents wanted their child to go there to the message, scripting, filming, editing and publishing of the video.

For this video we decided to ask the students for their help in creating a voiceover which conveyed the message in a succinct, emotive and engaging way. The video was filmed over two days with our team capturing a range of footage of core subjects and extracurricular activities. The video utilised motion graphics elements to keep the viewer engaged till the end.
The video was published on the school’s social media pages and website. The video now plays a key role in marketing the school and attracting parents to open days.
