Based on the concept of content marketing, the aim for Greenarc Energy was to create a range of videos that would be used to attract, engage and retain their target audience’s attention. Content marketing is a marketing strategy businesses use to boost their websites SEO, build an audience on social media which generates leads and sales.
The nature of content marketing is that you’re found when potential customers are searching for answers to their problems. With this in mind, when planning a content marketing campaign it is key to ensure keyword research is conducted thoroughly. This is to make sure that enough people are looking for that content to make it a viable option for a ROI and so that the content is optimised for search.
Proper Video helped Greenarc Energy’s marketing team build their keyword strategy. From there we created a list of video titles and a rough content guide. After Greenarc Energy had written the scripts our team took a final look and offered any suggestions and advice.
Due to the large amount of videos to be produced, Greenarc Energy needed a cost effective style. It was decided that Greenarc Energy’s managing director would deliver the information to the camera. We filmed all the videos using a greenscreen which meant we were able to cut out the background.
Proper Video then edited the videos together and added animation and motion graphics to emphasise key points. We create a branded logo animation and packed the videos up ready for Greenarc Energy to upload to relevant channels.
Working closely with the Marketing Director Proper Video’s role in the activation process was that of consultancy role. We advised Greenarc Energy to use an in video lead capture form. This is where a contact form pops up in the video player at key points prompting the viewer to enter their details.
